Effective Color Range Tool

There are many easy techniques to that can be learned quite easily in Photoshop. Below is a quick tutorial on how to get the desired effect using the simple color range tool. This tool works well when there are only a few colors in the photo.

1. Open Desired Photo
2. Top Menu hit select then color range
3. Pop-up window should appear. From that select drop down list at the top of that pop-up window select color you wish to show on the canvas. In this case I choose Red.
4. Select OK.
5. Hit Control + C to copy or go to top menu and select edit – copy.
6. Insert new layer. (Shift + Control + N) or go to layer pallet and click on insert new layer  icon.
